My turn for the Chalk and Paint Fabric Tour!
I love supporting my fellow pattern designer/fabric designer friends~ Caroline of Sew Caroline has released her new line of fabric with Art Gallery and it is adorable, as expected! Chalk and Paint is now available and there are many choices, including wovens, knits, and voiles. Check out all of the options HERE.
She asked a handful of blogger friends to sew something up using her fabrics, and I was happy to join in, and in my usual fashion, I couldn’t stop at just one outfit.
First up, I used the Uptown Cowl Dress from Sew Straight and Gather and shortened it to a tunic length. This is a perfect transitional piece for this time of year paired with leggings. The cowl neck and the leggings (drafted by me) are the Spray Blooms Subtle knit. The knit is super soft. Ainsley loves how it looks like she is wearing a scarf. The gray knit was purchased in NYC last year.
The second outfit I made was my very own Caroline Dress, and again, shortened into a tunic to show off the leggings. The Caroline was made out of the Short Lines Burst Sprightly in a woven. This is so cute for spring~
Thanks so much for having me Caroline! Best wishes on this newest fabric release.
Be sure to check out the others that posted earlier this week! All of the projects are amazing.
