Beginning a new year is like a reset button. You can decide what worked and what didn’t work that previous year and you have the power to change anything you would like. It is refreshing and daunting all at the same time. I like to look back on everything I have accomplished within that year and it gets me so excited for the future.
2014 was full of new experiences for me…. experiences that I never in a million years thought I would be a part of. I met amazing women that helped form Willow and Co, I released several new patterns for Mouse House Creations, was chosen to be on a sewing TV competition show (that I can’t discuss right now ha), helped Ainsley achieve her desire to model and act, began several amazing projects that will debut in 2015, redecorated much of my house, got published over 5 times in magazines, began delving into the world of photography, and still managed to keep my sanity.
Trust me, there were many mistakes made along the way and many more will be sure to come, but that is how we grow and learn.
Looking back on my favorite projects of 2014 leaves me so proud and encouraged.
2015 is already overflowing with incredible opportunities that I can’t wait to share with you. This is going to be an amazing year and I love that I have you guys to share it with. I hope you all have an amazing year, as well, and that you have health, happiness and love.
Here are some of my top posts of the year (and some of my personal favorites):
Sewing for Kindergarten: Yearbook Style
(one of my personal faves) Prefontaine Shorts
Once again, I wish all of you the happiest 2015. I appreciate every single one of you. Happy New Year!
