I am so excited! I have had the pleasure of working with Andover Fabrics on a few projects and now 2 of my items will be displayed at the upcoming Quilt Market in May. The two items are going to be my Pop Rox Caroline Dress and then this adorable Norah Tunic. Both outfits were created using fantastic Andover Fabrics fabrics!
Don’t forget…. the Sew Fab Sale is going on right now and the Norah Dress and Tunic pattern is a part of the bundle. So go buy it, if you haven’t already!
How adorable is this little tunic?
I love any and all Eric Carle books, especially the classic The Very Hungry Caterpillar, so of course, when I saw the fabric, I knew I had to get it. It is just so precious. I could see this being perfect for the yearly Read Across America festivities too.
I made the tunic version of my Norah because it will be great for preschool with leggings or shorts. Plus, she has a ton of dresses already. One of my favorite things about the Norah is how versatile it is. I am sure you have seen the long sleeve versions with the collar, or the short sleeve versions with the collar and tie, but I also adore the simple sleeveless versions with no collar and no ties. It is the perfect summer top.
I added a fun little border around the bottom with the coordinating print. Super easy to do and I love the pop of color it adds.
Another awesome feature of The Norah is that there are no zippers and no buttonholes. Just a simple tab.
I hope the lovely people over at Andover Fabrics love it as much as I do!

Interesting short article, precisely what I wished to locate.

I’ve always loved those hungry caterpillar polka dots…so pretty! The top will come in so handy for preschool.
