The Pop Rox Dress: Andover Fabrics

The absolutely lovely Carol Van Zandt, one of the designers for Andover Fabrics, sent me fabric from her newest line Pop Rox and I am in LOVE.  I squealed when I opened the package.
I knew right away that this fabric would be perfect for my Caroline Party Dress pattern and it turned out better than imagined.  When Ainsley was at school a few weeks ago, I made the dress and hid it in her room to find when she got home.  She was so so happy when she found it and told me that it will make the best Easter dress.
She calls it her “sprinkle dress” and thinks she looks like a beautiful princess.  I have to agree!
Of course, she still loves her pockets, so I had to add those.
The Pop Rox fabric is so incredibly soft and lovely.
I added the belt and jewel to tie in the pink.
The belt tutorial is found HERE.
One of my favorite parts is the collar!  I used the bottom of the border print and also added some pink piping.  To line the dress, I used the solid green from the Pop Rox line.  It has an awesome texture to it!
I want to give a Andover Fabrics and Carol Van Zandt a huge thank you for allowing me to try out this fabric.  I am a big fan and will definitely be posting more projects using my Andover Fabrics!
