What do you do when your certain 6 year old boy is absolutely, flat-out refusing to get photos for you? And you have tried every trick in the book? And you have a blog post commitment?
Well, you put the hoodie on yourself, of course!
I am so excited to be a part of the Knight Hoodie tour. My lovely friend Elizabeth is the mastermind behind this amazing hoodie and blogger over at Charming Doodle. This is one of the coolest patterns out there.

So, I made the size 7 for Ethan, so that it will fit him next year and the best part is that I can apparently borrow it whenever I want.
Look how cool the hood is??
This is such an awesome pattern for any little boy (or girl or grown up). The pattern calls for facings in the hood, but I actually chose to fully line it with some cool guitar fabric.
Two things that I messed up on: I apparently didn’t line up the pockets and it is driving me nuts. Not sure how that happened.
Also, my zipper ended up 2 inches too short. How?? I measured it afterwards and realized it was a 20 inch zipper that had been mislabeled as a 22 inch zipper. Doh!
I still think it turned out pretty awesome, though.

I just absolutely love all of the details that go into this. The hood, the armor, the buttons…. it is what makes this just so cool. It is one of those patterns that I know I will use again!
I still can’t believe this fit me! I know that Elizabeth is hard at work with the adult version of this pattern and I will absolutely be making one for myself.
I used a super soft organic sweatshirt material and oh my, it is SO cozy and comfy. I really hope Ethan lets me get pictures of him soon. If he does, I will be sure to update!
Make sure you go check all of the other awesome hoodies… they are incredible! Thanks for having me Elizabeth!

Obviously a very versatile pattern, lol. I have just bought it and was planning to make one for my daughter, I may have fake an “oops its too big” situation and keep it for myself 😉
