How to Take Photos in the Garage: Photography Tutorial

Today, we have the beautiful Alida from Alida Makes, where she blogs about her adorable family, her awesome style, and of course, her lovely sewing skills.   If you haven’t checked her out before… go… now. (well, go after you read this post).   She was kind enough to stop by here with a super fun video tutorial!  I am always on the lookout for new  photography backdrops and it just so happens that I use my garage for a lot of photo shoots too!!  Thanks Alida!

Hey y’all!

I have been trying to get in gear and start some Christmas crafts and I’ve come to realize that I’m just not ready.  I’ll get there folks. But, until then, there is one thing that makes my heart happy year round, and that is taking beautiful pictures of my children.  So today I’m going to show you how to take beautiful holiday pictures of your kids with this simple trick.

Guess where I took these…

In my garage!  Really!

This background was made totally on the fly, just imagine what you could do if you had a plan!

You ready to see how I did this?  Here you go!

I love the way these pictures came out.  I’m leaving the white background up for future use, I am so in love with the results!

Now how’s that for a Christmas card?  Now if I could only get all 4 of my children in a decent picture that would be something!

Thank you so much for having me Hayley!  This is my first attempt at a video tutorial of this nature, so don’t judge me too harshly!
