I’m so honored to be a part of the Handcrafted Holidays! There have been so many amazing projects so far. I came up with a unique and easy bouquet that would work for either Thanksgiving or Christmas as an addition to your mantle, centerpiece or even as a gift!
I’ve been loving gold and feathers in home decor lately and so I decided to add my own spin to it. I spotted some craft feathers lying around that were leftover from on of my daughter’s preschool projects. I grabbed some gold spray paint that I had on hand and it took no time at all to turn those feathers into gold!
Next, I took some small branches and sprayed those gold as well.
I decided to add some white embellishements to a few of the feathers. Using white craft paint and a small brush, I added some details.
All that was left to do was hot glue the feathers to the tops of the branches. It worked like a charm!
Find a vase and stick in your beautiful bouquet!
I love how it can add some height and interest to any decor theme.
You could also stick some painted feathers on a gift or tied around a candle. The possibilities are endless!
