It might be the end of summer, but there is still time.. .
make some homemade popsicles!
I love that they are made out of only fresh ingredients!

A few weeks ago, I shared how to make Watermelon Mojitos for the adults. Go HERE for that recipe. Yum, right?
Now, we can make a healthy treat for the kids!
Gather your ingredients:
*kiwi
*honeydew
*watermelon
*chocolate chips
*ice
You will also need popsicle molds, popsicle sticks, and a blender.
Crush some ice in your blender.
Toss in your watermelon.
Puree until smooth.
Spoon your icy watermelon into the popsicle mold, filling only 2/3 of the way.
Drop some chocolate chips into each mold.
Repeat the process with the honeydew and kiwi.
Ice, fruit, blend, put into molds.
You will top the watermelon with the honeydew first and then the kiwi. {tip: remove the black seeds from the kiwi before blending to make it more appealing for children}
Insert your popsicle sticks (be careful not to stir the layers at all… you don’t want to get them mixed together)
Pop into the freezer and let freeze overnight.
Enjoy!
Serve with watermelon mojitos for some serious fun!
