One of my lovely blog advertisers Fancy Schmancy is offering one of you the chance to win her entire collection of fabric flower and crown patterns worth $49. Learn how to make beautiful hair accessories, photo props, and fabric flower bouquets using her step-by-step tutorials full of detailed photos. There are so many possibilities with every single one of her patterns.
Jeni sent me several patterns to try out.
I used the Chrysanthemum/Glory Pattern to make a cute hair clip for Ainsley. This was SO easy, no-sew and can be made in a variety of ways. Her tutorial was super understandable and had a ton of pictures. I put the flower on an alligator clip, but it could easily be attached to a headband or a hat.
I also used the Pouting Princess Pattern tutorial, but instead of making it into a hair accessory, I mounted it onto a frame hanging in Ainsley’s bedroom. I thought it was the perfect finishing touch to that corner of her room and I wanted to show how versatile these patterns are. How cute would this be as an embellishment on a throw pillow or on a dress?
Jeni is so super sweet and I would love for you guys to check out her Facebook Page and take a peek at her Etsy Shop where she offers so many varieties of patterns to create your own adorable accessories.
Giveaway ends 5/19/13 at midnight!
Good luck!

I absolutely adore cute hair accessories on little girls and these flowers are beautiful. I have made a few hair clips for my 1 year old daughter using felt flowers and I recently learned how to make a fabric bow, but I have never tried making a fabric flower because I always thought they’d be hard to make.
