This is a very quick, easy, and healthy weeknight dinner that we love (and the kids love).
Ingredients:
*1/8 cup finely minced onion (or use 1 tsp onion powder)
*1 clove garlic, minced
*2 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
*1/2 cup honey
*1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
*chopped green onion (optional, we left those out because the kids don’t like green onion)
*salt and pepper to taste
*4 small salmon filets (we buy ours precut and without skin)
Directions:
1. Mix the onion, garlic, soy sauce, honey, sesame seeds, green onion, salt and pepper in a bowl. Lay the salmon filets in a dish and pour the honey mixture over the salmon. Cover with a lid or some plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to marinate.
Leave for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
2. After marinading, place the the salmon filets on a baking sheet. Pour any remaining honey mixture over top of them.
3. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes, basting the salmon every 5-7 minutes with the honey mixture.
4. Fish is ready when it flakes in the middle with a fork.
That’s it!
Serve with vegetables and enjoy.

You need a pin it button ;). This looks delish! And I will be putting salmon on my grocery list!
I have been meaning to add the “pin it” button to my blog, thanks for the reminder!
I have the Pin It button on my browser, so no problem for me! Our girls love salmon too! http://pinterest.com/pin/214061788511085059/
First of all I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind before
writing. I’ve had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out. I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints? Thanks!
