I couldn’t be happier and more proud of Ethan. Last week, he was selected to participate in the Eastern Pennsylvania Special Olympics Games. How incredibly cool is that?
Here he is with his team
He barely slept the night before the big day because he was SO excited! Even more exciting, was when he got to take the big bus to the university, which he thought was just the best thing ever.
He competed in track and field, softball toss, and the long jump.
They were all pretty exhausted by the end of the day 🙂
So proud of my little guy!
(is his shirt a tad big? hehe)
And Ainsley wanted to pretend like she got a touchdown, so I can’t forget to include her:)
If you ever get a chance to go to a Special Olympics game, please do. It was one of the most humbling experiences of my life. The kids that are a part of the events are just so incredibly special and love life in their own ways. I was so happy we could be there.

Oh that looks like so much fun! I love when you can see kids faces beaming with pride. 🙂
I love the Special Olympics for all that they do. I am so happy to see that Ethan had such a great experience! My favorite event is always the Roller Skaters. I love seeing them all dressed up in figure skating costumes. Love to see the girls looking so lovely and feeling beautiful. Their smiles and looks of pride are a wonderful thing to behold. 🙂
Oh that looks like it was such an amazing day for your family! Congrats to your little athlete!
