This is a super fun {and super easy} way to personalize a gift for a family member, co-worker, or friend. These would be super cute for an End of the Year teacher gift too!
Okay, okay… you can also make a bunch for yourself.
Simply, grab your supplies:
*Hand Towels (can purchase in large amounts at discount stores)
*Wonder Under (or other fusible web/adhesive)
*fabric
*ribbon
*scissors
*iron
*template for embellishment (letter or shape)
Iron the Wonder Under (or equivalent fusible web) onto the fabric of your choice. Cut out the pattern you wish to embellish your towel with. This towel was being dazzled with an “S”.
Once your Wonder Under is secured to your fabric, cut out the “S”, remove the paper backing and iron on to your hand towel, making sure to center it.
Again, iron Wonder Under to the back of your ribbon. Remove the paper backing and iron your ribbon to the bottom of your hand towel, right below your shape/letter. Fold the bottoms of the ribbon under about 1/4 inch to conceal the raw edge.
Once everything is ironed on, secure with the sewing machine by topstitching all the way around the ribbon and the letter/shape. This is an important step to ensure longevity.
There ya go folks!
A super easy and fun gift.
People just love personalized gifts and you can whip a bunch of these out in no time. (or hang them in your own bathroom or kitchen to make yourself feel extra special, of course)

Can you all give me some suggestions on sale prices for these towels? It seems that I am overpricing items that I try to sell. Thank you so much.
