I love taking the kids to local thrift stores and I usually let them pick out one toy.
Today, Ethan picked out an Etch A Sketch.

And Ainsley picked out the
Creepiest. Toy. Ever.
I didn’t care about the $6 price tag, I cared about this thing haunting me in my sleep. She swore this is what she wanted.
So, now, we have this thing at home.
I never liked these, even when I was a kid.
Creepiest. Toy. Ever.

Too funny. 🙂
Ha! I had one of those. It didn’t bother me when I was little, but now…yeah, creepy.
Jack-In-The-Boxes alone are scary. Clowns, alone, are scary. Combined? They are the reason I would not want to go to sleep at night. If I do go to sleep tonight, I am going to have nightmares.
ahaha… that sounds so familiar, I always thought they were too creepy!
LOL!! I agree that is creepy!!
We have a mangy looking “cat in the hat” one that my mom found at the thrift shop. She thought my two year old daughter would like it. She was wrong. My child screams and runs, she covers her ears… It is horrible!
All around the cobbler’s bench…the monkey chased the weasel…
Definitely a haunting toy!
HaHaHa…the post was too funny!
Ever since I could remember I have been terrified of clowns. Like run from the room crying kind of terrified. A few years ago my mom was cleaning out some stuff at her house. She found what she said was one of my old toys and did I want it. Sure I said, how fun….. It was that horrible clown jack in the box. One crank of the handle and I knew why I am so scared of clowns. What toy company thought having a creepy clown jump out at a little kid was fun I can’t imagine.
