We absolutely love this time of year….
cool weather, pumpkin picking, festivals, and good food.
(and THANK YOU so much for voting. I was literally tearing up from your comments about last week. I am so appreciative and now I get to move on to next week: Special Occasion Wear. Should be interesting!)
This past weekend was great. We spent time as a family. We went to fall festivals, the kids got their faces painted {Ainsley as a kitty cat, Ethan as a zombie bunny apparently} , we did some corn and hay mazes, picked out pumpkins, and we did lots of hugging and smiling. We breathed in and relaxed. Just the way it should be.

We felt bad for the poor, moldy corn 🙂
When we got home, we made my “famous” pumpkin squares
(the recipe is found HERE and trust me, they really are awesome)
Is it just me or is that top pumpkin square making a weird face? It even has furrowed brows, right?
Please don’t tell me I am crazy… I see it!
Please tell me you see it as well.
It has a rounded mouth and I think he is yelling at me… “eat me!”
I hope that you enjoyed this past weekend too!

WELL DONE on your pr&p win this week! I can’t believe how long Ainsley’s hair is now 🙂 at the beginning of the week I decided to read your blog from the very beginning. I’m loving it! Ainsley is 2 now, in where I’m up to!
As a college math major and current actuary I loved your PR&P outfit! And, yes, I see the face on the pumpkin square – I’m just glad to know that someone else sees it too. 🙂

Congrats this week. You did a fabulous job!
I love these pictures! Can’t wait to take my daughter to the pumpkin patch this weekend too.
