Window Valance = Quick and Easy Dress/Top
This project was seriously so easy!
I bought this cute window valance at Goodwill for $1 and knew it would make a really cute top or dress for Ainsley.
I cut it to the appropriate size for Ainsley and used the existing tab tops as straps! Then, just put elastic in the top casing and finally stitched up the sides.
Super easy and took me under 30 minutes to do and she loves it.
With the scraps, I even made some matching bloomers, but don’t have pictures of those yet. Soon, I promise!
Anyone else love to find things super cheap at Goodwill and upcycle them into unexpected items?

I really love the top and I’m super jealous of your find. We just bought those same valances at Target for my daughter’s room and spent $16 a piece!
So creative! I see so many fabulous upcycles from finds at goodwill but then when I go my brain turns to mush and I have trouble seeing beyond the item.
Adorable! You have great vision!
O my gosh that is so cute! Very creative of you!
