I am finally snuggled up in my own bed after spending a week at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (one of the best hospitals in the country!). Words can’t even begin to express how thankful I am for all the family and friend support I have had and I truly don’t know how Garrett and I would have managed everything on our own. BUT the best part has been kissing and hugging Ethan and Ainsley again. I have never missed anyone as much as I have missed them.
Without going into a long detailed blog post about it all, I just wanted to say that I am home and healing. The neurologists are still working hard to figure out what is wrong and how I can be helped in the future. I managed to dodge paralysis this time, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen again in my life, so we are doing everything we can to gain control of the situation.
Perhaps I will go into more detail in the future, but for now, I am resting after some painful spinal procedures and I am thinking positive thoughts. Being home has never felt so good.

OK lady, hoping the best! Do keep us apprised with as much detail as you find comfortable. You are a little young for paralysis so I’ll say a prayer to two as well!
Oh wow, I’m sending positive thoughts and prayers your way!
