My little baby Ainsley is going to be TWO years old tomorrow, and I can’t believe how quickly time flies. Seems like just yesterday that we were anticipating the birth of a precious baby girl and now she is a beautiful, happy toddler with quite a personality.
We had her birthday party today and, by her demands, it was full of pink. Ainsley had been asking for a Princess Party (still not sure where she got that idea? Minnie Mouse, perhaps?) and Princess themed parties aren’t usually my “thing”, but I tweaked everything until I got it just right for the Mouse House. She was super pleased and couldn’t wait to devour cake and play with balloons.
Happy Birthday, sweet baby Ainsley!
Pictures from her party! Random, awesome, and so me! Enjoy!
This was before food was added. Never did get around to taking a photo of all the lovely food!
Even the Rooster got dressed up!
Water bottles with labels, fun straws, and strawberry lemonade (not in the container yet, haha)
Favors: Swords for the boys and tiaras and wands for the girls. Homemade crayons for everyone!
Dining Room = Dessert station!
This is the “fairy princess” dress I made her for the party. She rocked it!
I made her a special dolly named “Josephine” to snuggle with.
Best Part? I made Josephine a matching party dress! Ainsley loved it!
Cake time! I made her a 3 layer yellow cake with pink buttercream. The decorations were gum paste princess castles
cupcakes, of course!
The whole “dessert station”
Ethan was the best “Happy Birthday” singer in the bunch!
yum. cake
gift time!
LOVE! Thanks to all the friends and family that helped us celebrate today. We love all of you and can’t thank you enough!!!
