Several of you have asked me how the craft room looks now that I have been using it daily. Check HERE to see the original post about my new room.
I considered cleaning up a little before I took these pictures, but I realized that wouldn’t be very fun. So, here is a glimpse at my room today:
When you enter, you can see my “Cricut Station”, overflowing with papers, paraphernalia, and random accessories. The last picture even shows my hair straightener…. Keep in mind that I have VERY straight hair and don’t use it for the intended purpose. I use it to quickly “iron” hems!
However, I am SUPER excited about the recent paper rack that I acquired off Craigslist! You can probably tell that I have a LOT of paper…. all of the drawers are stuffed with paper as well.
View of my once clean sewing table. I don’t know what happened. In fact, this is after a quick cleanup the other day. It is amazing that I can even get anything accomplished in this area.
Here is my new BabyLock Serger. Love this thing!
The storage closet. Um, I don’t know what to say about it. I really don’t. It has doors, so I will be closing them now….
Fabric. Lots and LOTS of fabric. I will be reorganizing this mess later.
Am I embarrassed by the mess? Sort of. Am I going to clean it up this week? Probably not.

mine looks a whole lot like that. and i always feeled shamed when bloggers post awesome pictures of their awesome, perfect rooms. I have a pretty cool set up but.. yeah, it’s a hot mess most of the time.
LOL Bree! Glad it made you feel better 🙂
Here’s a TUT to make your own paper racks! My mom used it for her scrapbooking room, and its held up for a good 4-5 years now. Its seriously sooo much cheaper than buying them new. And I bet they would actually work well for fabric too! Hmmm… now the wheels are turning in MY head. :/

That is a great tutorial, Amy! It looks so easy and cheap, too! Luckily, I scored my paper rack for $20 on Craigslist, but they are so expensive when you purchase them new! I might have to try that wire paper rack for my fabrics. 🙂
