I CANNOT believe Ainsley turned 1 this past weekend! Happy Birthday to my sweet little girl!
Are you ready for an insane amount of party pictures???? You sure?
I made everything for the party, with the exception of a few things like the sandwich wraps, etc. Everything else, including the cakes, were made by me! I have had several people sending me messages and emails asking me how to do some of these things, so I am planning to do a “tutorial” post later this week!
For now, enjoy the pictures:
Ainsley’s “smash” cake, with little edible pearls:
Dessert station (notice what they are sitting on? It’s a curtain valance, lol)
Birdie cupcakes with toasted coconut “nests”:
Red Velvet cake pops in styrofoam that I covered with fabric and ribbon:
All the food, with a wooden birdcage centerpiece that I spraypainted:
Sandwich wraps, courtesy of Wegman’s:
I made all the little tags and embellishments with my Cricut machine (love that machine!):
Gotta have plates and cutlery, right? We aren’t savages…we do use utensils:
A Year of Ainsley in photos:
I made this canopy for Ainsley to open gifts under. Oh, and see the new Pottery Barn kids chair? That was a gift from my mum to Ainsley…. she had to have a chair just like Ethan:
The birthday banner, of course:
Here are a few pics of the actual birthday girl!
Being silly with Mommy and Daddy:
Loves her new chair:
She was VERY uneasy about everyone singing “Happy Birthday”:
