Magnets

Recently, Ethan discovered how magnets work. The side of our refrigerator is covered in those big letter magnets for him to play with and he has figured out which side of the letter sticks to the fridge. His new obsession is walking around with a letter in his hand, trying to stick it to everything and anything.

What magnets stick to:
Refrigerators
Vents
Pots and pans
Dishwasher
Door hinges
Washer and dryer

What magnets DO NOT stick to:
People’s legs
The dog
Water
Doors
Walls
Sliding glass doors
Toilets
Rays of sunshine

Aside from the letter magnets, Ethan has also been assuming that all his little toys are magnets. He has a little toy fire extinguisher that he is convinced will stick to things. Sorry Ethan… it just doesn’t work that way!
