Ethan had a rough day today. Poor little guy kept falling over, three times total. I suppose he thought that he is a champion walker by now and believed that he had the ability to toddle wherever he pleased. Not true. He fell two times on the tile floor and one time on top of his toys. The poor kid ended up crumpled in a pathetic heap on top of his toy gas station. His arm got caught in the oil change station. It took all of my strength to not giggle.
His cries were so horrific each time, but yet all it took for him to calm down was a snuggle with Mommy and a good book. I scooped him up after the falls, patted his back, let him snuggle into my shoulder, and we sat on the couch and read several books. Phew. Crisis averted.

Aww, not looking forward to that… I remember when Maddie first started sitting up she would fall over a lot. LOL. Not funny cause it was so sad :(. SO I know it is soon enough for our little ones to start this while walking. Give him extra hugs from me.
Isn’t it the sweetest how, when our babies think it’s the end of the world, we can make it better and more optimistic for them with just a kiss and a snuggle? He’ll get the hang of walking soon enough, and then he can come show Liam how it’s done. Liam can do it but he doesn’t believe it yet 🙂
