Happy Monday, everyone! I am so excited for my good friend Olga of Coffee and Thread. She has just released her newest sewing pattern and it is adorable! I am joining several other bloggers for her Eleena Dress Tour. The Eleena dress will be on sale for $7.00(regular price $9.00) through March 7th, 11:59 EST, so this is a perfect time to grab it.
While the Eleena dress is perfect as is, I decided to adjust it into a top length for Ainsley, and she loves it!
I paired the Eleena Top with a pair of Clover Shorts and a cute wooden handle bag using the leftover scrap fabric. I am hoping to post the bag as a free tutorial in the future!
The collar on this dress/top is so fun and 60’s inspired.
The kelly green fabric is a kona cotton and the insert fabric is actually home decor fabric with embroidery on it.
If you want to adjust it to a shirt length, simply hold the pattern piece up against your child and determine where you want it to end, but add length for the hem.
Now, we just have to wait for spring time!
Thanks so much for having me, Olga! I am sure this pattern will be a success.
Be sure to check out the rest of the fabulous and inspiring bloggers on the tour!

So so pretty, Haley! The fabric is perfection! I love everything about this outfit! And of course you made a purse to go with it! 🙂 so awesome Thank you so much for being on the tour!
This is probably the perfect fabric choice for this pattern! I love what you did here! The photography is stunning as usual.
Perfect fabric choices for the dress indeed! I did not realise there was embroidery on the fabric for the pleat. Love it, absolutely love it! I think this pattern works really well as a tunic.
I love the patterned inset!
Love the choice of your pattern Castles Embroidery Designs
